Glowing Skin Smoothie

I’ve recently got into making smoothies just for a little goodness and some extra vitamins throughout the winter and I have to say I’m loving it. This smoothie is not inly great for an energy boost but its also got some key ingredients for glowing beautiful skin – definitely needed after 4 years of no sleep!

Containing avocado, which hydrates the skin, mango and pineapple which both contain carotins, giving the skin a healthy glow and spinach, a superfood that clears our body of toxins, it can only be a good thing, right?

This green smoothie tastes amazing and is packed full of goodness. A perfect mid-morning pick me up for anyone suffering from too many sleep-deprived nights.


1/2 avocado (fresh or frozen)

1 banana

1 cup frozen mango

1cup frozen pineapple

2 cups spinach or kale

1/2 cup almond milk (or coconut water/milk of choice)

1/2 cup water or ice

2 teaspoons honey

For a more filling/meal replacement kind of smoothie try adding 1 or 2 tablespoons ground flax seed.


Whizz all ingredients and enjoy. Yes it’s that simple!
